Walking distance to Harrods Harvey Nicholls, Kings Road, Sloane Square Tube station and a lot more!!!! In a lovely part of London. Hotel a little faded and old fashioned but who cares central and clean with lovely staff. Just cant fault it for the money. Will stay there again. (Wotif.com)

I chose this hotel because it was convenient for my visit to Cadogan Hall. The Hotel is an old building now requiring a complete upgrade. I was staying at the top of the house. If you enjoy a hot shower I recommend you pick a room on a lower floor, My shower was no more than a tepid dribble. Having said that I must admit that my bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have used (hotels.com)

The Diplomat Hotel is a charming old hotel located in Belgravia. It’s location is fantastic – close to Buckingham Palace, trendy shopping and Victoria Station. The hotel is not modern which may not suit everyone. However if you like old hotels, you’ll love this one. It even has an old fashioned two person lift. The staff is very helpful.  (Expedia)

Reasonably priced. Situated in the heart of Belgravia. All the well- decorated rooms are in suite. Delicious breakfast. Receptionists are all so kind and friendly. (Google)

The hotel does not have a restaurant or lounge, but there are bars and restaurants within a short walking distance so there are other options available. The staff were great. I asked if there was anywhere I could hold a meeting with two colleagues and they gave me the use of the breakfast room for two hours with complimentary tea, coffee and pastries. They really went the extra mile to accommodate what I needed. My bedroom was comfortable and the location of the hotel is right in the heart of Belgravia. (Booking.com)

If you want a five star experience, then book a five star hotel. However, if you want a pleasant stay in a charming old structure right in the heart of a great part of London, the Diplomat offers charm and friendly service at a great value. We actually stayed here two different times in the same week (trip to Cotswolds in between). What brought us back was value, friendly staff (George, Milena and Giancarlo at Reception, and Victor in Maintenance), and the charm of this former residence turned hotel. To be honest, the rooms get better the more you spend, but all rooms are a good value. There are a nice supermarket and ATM two blocks away, and tube stations within easy walk. We will stay here again on future trips to London. (Tripadvisor)

Very nice stay. Quiet area. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are aged but still fine and very clean.

We really loved our stay at the Diplomat! It’s a really unique building that has been remodeled over time to preserve it’s character. You’ll feel like you’re back in time a bit with all the modern amenities you need. We enjoyed easy walks to Hyde Park, the Palace, Westminster Abbey and the knightsbridge station for the Piccadilly line connects you to anywhere else. The area is extremely posh and feels very quiet and safe. The hotel staff were lovely and always happy to accommodate a request. We will stay there again and recommend to our friends. (Wotif.com)

Cozy hotel with excellent location (a quiet, beautiful area, but near enough to many tourist attractions for a nice walk), comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff (they were generous to let us check-in two hours earlier), tasty English breakfast, competitive price in that neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. (booking.com)

The location was ideal – just 10 mins walk from Victoria Coach Station, and 15 mins from Hyde Park Corner. The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. The single room was small, but spotlessly clean, and with all amenities eg tea-making, TV, hairdryer, private shower/toilet (with underfloor heating!). There was a watercooler on each landing which was useful. The price reflected the location and amenities – good value for money. (booking.com)

Four of us stayed for just one night – the hotel was about 10 mins. walk from the Cadogan Hall, where we had booked to see a show. We found it very comfortable – the breakfast was really good. The area around was very quiet, especially when we walked back after the show. The staff were very pleasant – we would happily stay there again. (hotels.com)

Lovely Victorian era small hotel in a former private residence. Very good location near Sloan Square tube station, easy 5 minute walk. The full English breakfast that was included was especially nice. The furnishings are beautiful and it has a very homey atmosphere. I would absolutely stay there again.

(Google)
